叢京生等多位華人學者入選美國工程院院士

美國當地時間2月8日,美國工程院公布2017年入選院士名單,共新增84位院士及22位外籍院士。其中有多位著名華人學者,包括叢京生、黃永剛、沈向洋、張東曉、陳向力等人。

叢京生,加州大學洛杉磯分校計算機系校長講席教授。通過在現場可編程門陣列中的創新,對可編程邏輯的技術發展有開拓性貢獻。 

美國國家工程院院士是工程界最高榮譽之一,授予那些在工程領域內從事研究、實踐和教育并作出卓越貢獻的人士;以及在新興和發展中的技術領域中取得重大進展、在工程教育方面研發新方法的開拓者。目前院士總數達到2281人,外籍院士249人。
